Shriram Automotive's water pumps operate in temperatures upto 120°C and discharge 50 to 250 litres per minute with one kg per square centimetre, at a speed of 8000 r.p.m. The pumps are produced in cast iron and aluminium. The casting is gravity die and pressure die.

The water pumps are fitted with sealed type integral shaft bearing and independent bearing with a special sealing arrangement using a ceramic counter face. Sophisticated machines, tools and equipment are used to ensure accurate adherence to the required dimensions for various components.
